Everything Pumpkin

Fall is in the air and my taste buds have turned to everything pumpkin and spice!

Yesterday I was craving the taste of fall spices, so when I made my frozen banana smoothie with coconut milk and protein powder, I decided to throw in a few warming spices like cardamom, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon. I also added a dash of Delallo Instant Expresso Powder, and BAM- I had a delicious tasting chai smoothie!

Now, most who know me well, know that I am more about throwing in a dash of this and a pinch of that. In other words, I hate precise measuring unless I am baking where most ingredients have to be exact.

Besides, everyone is different when it comes to the amount of sweetness, spiciness, and flavor their taste buds are craving.

With pumpkin taking the center spotlight in recipes right now, I will be sharing other pumpkin recipe posts as well as my own.  When I woke up this morning, I decided I wanted to make my oats with pumpkin and spice, so here is what I came up with.  Baked Pumpkin Oats

Like I mentioned earlier about measuring, maybe you want your warm spices to be stronger, so by all means, go for it and add more to your liking.

So here’s to everything pumpkin!
